Designer Notes:

This piece was commissioned to us by a connoisseur of classical French furniture. To understand his desires we researched French styles, proportions and ornamentation. So was born this authentic French desk; six feet seven inch long, with two file drawers and two drawers on each side and an ample middle drawer. When we finished we like it sufficiently to make a second reproduction featuring the same exquisite carvings, hand rubbed french finish and solid brass hardware of the original.
