Designer Notes:

This collector’s piece is an authentic reproduction of the Santa Catalina Castle, one of the oldest forts in the United States which serves as the residence and office of Puerto Rico’s Governor, chair commissioned to us by its patronage. The chair is done in mahogany and its carving is an exact replica of the original which dates to the XVIII century .The chair’s back is in the medallion style but instead of the traditional oval form, our reproduction’s back has the shape of a strawberry for both comfort – its concave curve supports and hugs the user’s back – and aesthetic proportion. The legs are carved cabriolet style and the cane is hand woven. The piece has a sophisticated finish which makes the ties of the cane invisible.
